On October 21, 2026, NVIDIA announced an expansion of its open-model family for European industries. The portfolio spans language and vision, business data, robotics, autonomous driving, life sciences and quantum computing.
What was announced
The announcement includes Nemotron 3.5 Super VL, Nemotron 3.5 Bolt, Nemotron Retriever for retrieval and document processing, and Kumo for structured business data. Cosmos 3.5 world models also form part of the portfolio. Availability varies by product: some are already available, while others are scheduled for later release.
Why it matters
The models serve different jobs. Language models work with text and images; retrieval models help find information; structured-data models support prediction and anomaly detection; world models support physical-world understanding and simulation. Together, they point toward applications built around a company’s own knowledge and operating environment.
Our perspective: start with the data
A manufacturer or warehouse operator should first identify the task: detecting equipment anomalies, finding documents or validating a simulated process. Each requires different data and evaluation methods. Data preparation, licensing, deployment requirements and business review should all inform model selection.
